I think what people are missing from the ending of this movie is that it is the perfect ending. The Director lets your brain fill in the reasons, the feelings, and the what"s ********* all given when Evan looks up to the Heavens. I was absolutely amazed at the acting ability of Robin Williams...I've never hated a Charactor so much! What can you say about Keri Russell; Her beautiful eyes conveyed every emotion, and gave explination to every unspoken word. I would love to see a part 2, but nothing could make this movie any better in my opinion. Thank You for one of the Best feel good movies I've had the pleasure to be entertained by.

DONT listen to the critics. first of all their saying its just a kids movie. itts not at all though. there were many adults by themselves in the movie theater adn they stood up and clapped att the end. just because its appropriate for most kids, it doesnt mean its only a kids movie, both kida and adults will love it. an absolute delight. the movie is great, the story is great, the music is great, the ending is great. LOved it!! Jacob.

What a greta movie. I have felt this movie so much maybe because I can relate to the struggle that the parents went. I wish all ending were like this.

I fell in love with this movie at the theater. Of course I had to buy this DVD, it's a classic. Now it's on HBO demand and I'm obsessed with watching it ever day after a long day at work because it just makes me feel good. I would give ANYTHING for there to be a sequal showing their lives after they reunited. I just love the charactars in this movie, especially Keri, Freddie and Johnathon Rhys Meyers. They were all just captivating along with the beautiful music. Please I beg of you to make August Rush 2!

I was truly captivated by this movie and it left me wanting more. The relation of music, poetry, and romance were breathtaking.

This was one the best movies I have seen in a long time. A really feel good movie. Top 10 of all time in my collection.

I thought this movie was extraordinary from beginning to end. It held my focus fading everything around me with the exception of this endearing movie. I hope there will be a part 2. That is the only fault I found with the movie, it left me so hungry for more! Please listen to patrons, and allow us the pleasure of a continuation of this wonderful movie! And thank you for making a film the whole family can watch! BRAVO!!!
