I just saw this movie and thought it was amazing! Although it has some very predictable moments and is somewhat unrealistic, it's just very moving and inspiring. It makes you feel alive. I love the premise that some people just hear the music. One of the best movies I have seen in a very long time!!! See it!!!!

August Rush is a movie that really captures the spirit and beauty of music. It makes you feel the music deep down in your soul. I think that the characters will inspire youth to want to learn to love and appreciate music. There are several parts of the movie that are unrealistic but it's a movie. That's why we see movies....to take us away from reality. Do yourself a favor and see this movie with somebody that you care about!

If you're ever in Aberdeen, you know, you should go over to this place and get trashed. You know they have food and alcohol, so its going to be a goo time you know. \n\nI dont know what was wrong with that other guy, they dont have money spewing from their lanes. But it sure beets the alternative if you're ever in Aberdeen.

This is a movie I just took a chance on and it turned out to be so inspirational. In fact you don't know me but I am going to Florida in the morning and decided to go first class and go to Epcot Center. I really did not just want to go dancing and see the family but do something special and this movie inspired me to do something special--it could do the same for you my friends!

It's true that this movie is not very complicated, and it is in fact very predictable, but the great cast and amazing music fill in all of the gaps. A film for a true music lover.

I was enamored. This movie... my goodness. I was speechless for about 2 hours until I watched what the rest of the world considers entertainment. A rerun of "A shot at love w/ Tila Tequila." To escape this agony of bisexual torture... I immediately went to see "Rush" again. My friends, if only for the music... immediately buy this movie when it comes out. I work at Blockbuster and have seen too many movies to recollect. But, this is BY FAR the best movie I have most likely ever seen. Like a kid, in a candy store, with too much money... August Rush is an uplifting, unfathomable story. But, like anything good in life, you feel like it was a dream come true to your ears. Only since Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach has there been anything as metaphorically a beautiful projection into daylight. Close your eyes and just listen to this movie.

The critics have absolutely no idea! this movie is truly a work of art, the most amazing movie I have ever seen!

Wife and I are outdoor types, but we absolutely loved this movie. Don't care that it was a fairy tale, in fact, it was successfull at that too. Unless you have a cold, dark heart, you will enjoy this uplifting, positive story.
