People, it's basically a cowboy and Indian story. It's a remake of our own history of how the white man came, persecuted and killed the Indians for their land - in Avatars' case, it's for a rock/gem... . The only difference is that this one takes place on a different planet with an amazing array of photography enhanced by the imax 3d experience. If you saw it once, this is repetitious. If you never saw it, please come and see it. Full Review

OK people who say this is anti-military... WRONG. If you would pay attention to the movie, you would realize they are all ex-military and are all mercenaries at the time of the conflict. The movie if ... anything is anti-corporation or capitalism. The movie is about a private business that kills a planet for its own greed. WAKE UP, Mercenaries are NOT in the military serving any country. a Mercenary is some1 who leaves the military and becomes a gun for hire. Full Review

Terrible movie with too many nauseating political messages. Anti-American military, which is disturbing considering those people put their lives on the line every day to protect our lives and way of ... life. The "tribe" seemed like Kalahari Bushmen and talked like Jamaicans...weird in my book. I was not impressed with the 3D effects. I expected to be moving around in my seat dodging objects etc...that didn't happen. I felt the movie was very patronizing. I am highly aware of the environmental issues the world is facing. I didn't need James Cameron to point out these issues to me. The movie also implied that Americans have no religion or spirituality, that we need to be taught by non-existant beings about how to connect with the planet and with one another. Horrible, annoying move. Both my friends felt the same way. Not worth the $19 we each spent, what a rip off. Full Review
