You made a grave mistake in star listing. Order: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang and then Michelle Rodriguez. Rodriguez did an excellent job, however, she was not one of the top two main characters. Remember, her character was killed off. Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana will continue on with Avatar 2.
One of the best SCI-FI movies ever. It has a little of everything. adventure- love- action . sort of reminds me of the settlers going west and taking the land from the indians. Bob
Great movie... from an anthropological standpoint I was fascinated by the main character's journey to become one of the Na'vi.
Loved everything about it.
Beautiful cinematography and the acting was great...don't expect a world changing event to take place...the film is overrated and the plot isn't reinventing the wheel...reminds me of Pocahontas...Overall, pretty decent movie.

By presenting Avatar in 3-D, Cameron is staking his claim and building a fence around his own precious resource, making it unobtainable on any but his own terms to increasingly emboldened and technologically savvy natives. Full Review

The scenes in Pandora -- a planet with an Earth-like environment -- are so breathtaking that the narrative seems almost beside the point. Full Review

Is it or is it not stupendously friggin' rad? And the answer is yes. For most of the first hour, a good portion of the second, and even many of the 40 minutes left after that, Avatar is stupendously friggin' rad. Full Review
