Having been a caregiver for over 6 years I found very little depth in this movie.I found her too mentally well to go into the nursing home and he very much in his own ego needs. I absolutely loved this film - tho it was hard to find a theatre that was playing it...Julie Christie was BRILLIANT and is still so gorgeous.....As a daughter of an Alzheimer parent, I found the story very moving...Tho I thought Fiona had more verbal skills than most patients....Thank you for a terrific film!!
