2 out of 5. The book was Long but good, The movie of course left out alot from the book, but in this case way too much. If they had added perhaps 5 or 15 minutes more to the story, would have been much better. Makes you wander what the Directors Cut DVD could be like, perhaps a whole lot better!

Complete waste of time and money to see this movie, it was just horrible, it ended weakly, and if you miss any at all of this movie, you will be completely lost. Don't waste your time with it.

these reviews are completely wrongthis was the absolute sickest movie i have ever seen!!! the effects were AMAZING and the acting was surprisingly good...... the story line was so cool and i will be seeing this one again!! definetely worth your money!!!!

these other ratings are wrong. These people are expecting way to much out of a action movie. This movie was good,could it have been better? yes..Worth seeing.... yes. Seeing twice... no.

Weak story, mediocre acting, too unclear action scenes, Blade Runner wannabe city scenes, some light Parkour action, nothing really hits the target. Sorry Vin, and really sorry Michelle, I like you guys but this one just didn't cut it. L. Read more at OpineAway.com

This movie was a complete waste of time and resources, both to create and to watch. Weak storyline, no discernible plot, horrendous acting, badly put together CG... heck, even the martial arts action was weak and blurred by the ridiculously bad camerawork. When the director himself claims the movie is "violent and stupid", you can't expect much. I wish I'd read the reviews before going to see it - it really is a waste of time to watch. There are simply no redeeming qualities to this film.
