Balls of Fury User Reviews

Glad it rented this one. It was reasonably entertaining and funny in parts, but overall fairly stupid. If I would have dropped $40.00 at the theaters for the family to see this one, I would have been really upset. But, $5.00 at Blockbuster--I was OK with that.

Mr. Guzman has grand ideas and no one to back him other than a couple of backroom pocket fillers. Why is it that everyone here knows that Mr. Guzman didn't have the money to put up to purchase Grider Hill but yet if you check Kentucky records there is not a single person listed on ANY records other than himself, Mike Lawson, or two UFO's that he names Kimo Oheheffeen and J Euzoan? Heck anyone with Google can play games with this all day......... \n\nLet's try a few shall we????????.....\n\n"We're not trailer manufacturers, we're home builders," said Vice President of Finance John Guzman. "If we can help, and the government wants us to, ... then we would increase our plant production."\n\nTHIS IS A QUOTE FROM MR. GUZMAN HIMSELF AS HE along with some others publicly takes advantage of Hurricane Katrina victims.\n\nLet's try again.............\n\nHe then handed a $500,000 check to Blue Water Park Models, Inc. owners, Mike Lawson and John Guzman, money from a CDBG grant which will help their business.\n\nWow. Thanks for that Ernie. And he wonders why he didn't get re-elected........HHHmmmmmmmm now if I am reading that article correctly Blue Water Park Models, Inc. received that money on a promise that they are going to create jobs for Kentucky and to fulfill that "goal"(used loosely) they have to have provided 25 verifiable jobs within 24 months......Now considering that article was published in October of 2005 can someone besides Mr. Guzman please tell me where Blue Water Park Models Inc. is located and how many employees they currently have??? They have a great website but since their "news flash" still says Gov. Fletcher gives grant etc, etc, all.........follow the trail and there is not a single link that has been updated or talked about since early 2006 and this includes whatever trailer park "association" that so highly brags about Blue Water Park models.......

Huge Chris Walken fan...but not die hard enough to sit through this flick...they should have run it through SNL first to see if there were any takers, because it could have ended right then and there, put it out of its misery before dragging it through the dust to tar and feather the bad movie.

This was an interesting movie. Even though the ending was kinda flat, the movie overall was better than i thought. Go see this movie. I would give it a 9/10.

If you like silly comedies (and I do), then Balls of Fury movie makes the grade. It could have been better but I laughed enough to justify the matinee ticket price. In comparison with "Superbad" I'd definitely have to choose Balls of Fury. With regard to vulgarity, there was obviously some adult humor in Balls but again it was squeeky clean compared to Superbad!

Donâ??t expect me to explain the rules and purposes of the tournament, if it has any. I was preoccupied with observing the sheer absurdity of everything on the screenI coud have watched this movie for free at http://moviego.blogspot.com on streaming videoinstead i spent $19 i am soo lame....

I don't understand why this movie is getting such bad reviews. If you love comedies then you will definately appreciate this film, but maybe on DVD. 3 1/2 stars out of 5

This movie turned out to be great because my expectations based on some of the reviews were not high. This is a movie that one can enjoy and come out without feeling that it has been a waste of time and money. Good jokes and good direction interspersed with some martial arts and a cute female lead make this an enjoyable fare.
