Went to see this flick hoping for quality writing and acting and a few laughs. Left wondering what the writers and director were thinking. Mandy Moore is adorable but could bebefit from an acting 101 class. Diane Keaton is over-the-top obnoxious and the wardrobe looked ridiculous. Premise was good...had lots of potential, but unfortunately, the cheap grab for laughs and shockers ruined it...especially the scene when the senior citizens in the cooking class start making out...where the hell did that come from?

Wow, with the names in this movie, I was sure let down. The only great part of the movie is that the mom finally finds someone who loves her for who she is. Although, I was very upset that there was so much sexual humor. I was mortified that they had sex as a joke in this movie several times. Doesn't Hollywood realize that they don't need explicit sex in movies for them to be successful? Look at "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"! There are plenty others that could be followed too. As a parent, I wouldn't let my teenagers go to this movie until they were in college! What a HUGE disappointment of a movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was very enjoyable and was not dissappointed in any way. Diane Keaton's personality makes things work in the movie and i would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good laugh and have a good feeling when they leave.

MY FRIEND AND I ARE IN OUR 60'S. WE LOVED THIS MOVIE. WE LAUGHED SO MUCH. IT WAS NOT BORING AT ALL.

I like Diane Keaton and thought this would be entertaining "light fare" -- nothing heavy -- BUT!!! -- what a waste of the $9.25 movie admission. A complete and utter NONSENSE movie an embarrassment and insult to the movie audience. How does such trivia get produced???!!!

I went to see this movie today, because it was my 60th birthday and it is a movie about a woman turning 60. It semed very appropriate. The movie was so bad, my friend and I had to leave before it was half over. What in the hell happened to Dianne Keaton's face? She looks like my grandmother. I was not happy watching a woman turning 60 who looked like my grandmother. That wouldn't have been the worst part if the movie had been good. I kept waiting for the characters to become likable and for the movie to hit its stride. It never did. Finally, I turned to my friend and said, "This is terrible." She was very relieved, because she wasn't sure she could last until the end of the movie. The reviews made this movie seem much better than it was. "Mediocre" is far too generous a description. The characters are superficial and not sympathetic. Dianne Keaton's character is probably supposed to be quirkey, but she is just psychotic. Don't waste your money. this movie is BAD.

I have never written a review and I have never written a word on the internet..but this movie was so awful i just had to so..SAVE YOUR MONEY. I went to see this with my sister and we both agreed Diane Keaton looked stupid as hell and we pray she will never make another movie. We also hope she is not trying to make a fashion statement with those crinlines!!! I am the same age, and her body does look good ( hense the panty scene) but the camera should have had a filter and looked more at Mandy Moore. The only movie worse was "Just Hang Up" which was also Diane Keaton and stupid. Next time sister, I pick the movie...ofcourse you hated this one too.

If you just love, love, love Diane Keaton, maybe you'll like this movie. It is the worst chick flick I've seen in a long time. Diane Keaton really looks old. The only thing she has going for her is that she is thin. It has X rated scenes and stupid lines. The daughters act like they have not backbone. Diane Keaton seems to think her laugh is wonderful and does it all the time. She opens the door in underwear and seems to think that is fine even with a guy she hasn't met before but of course starts having sex with him. Ugh, ugh, uhg!Zero rating.
