Bill Moyers: The Power of the Word - Where the Soul Lives is one part of a six-volume documentary series that explores the power of language in human expression and its role in the enrichment of life. In this 60-minute episode, poets Robert Bly, Lucille Clifton, and W.S. Merwin read and discuss their works. Bly depicts the spiritual nature of poetry with music, Clifton focuses on women-specific experiences and her black heritage, and Merwin writes about human relationships.
