i saw this movie last night, it was a disturbing movie as well as stupid. it had no point as to why people went blind & why did the man in thee end get his sight back. julianne moore and mark ruffalo along with danny glover, was a great crew to have on a movie. still in all, the movie sucked on my part.

Worst movie I have ever seen. Love horror and thiller, but this movie doesnt even make sense. I almost walked out and I love all type movies....PLEASE do not waist your time or $$$$.....If I could rate this less then 1 I would!

Thank you Joshua. The reviews/comments of most here have been very disappointing. The film is absolutely excellent, and is an intelligent and engaging exploration... see my earlier review.

Blindness was excellent! I already want to buy the DVD, People don;t realize that all societies are based or certain premises and when one of those changes or is removed, society can radically change or break down. People who didn't like this movie are people who don't want to believe society is that fragile. You'll see it soon as we continue to run out of oil. And as always, the negative review also point out the sad fact that the average person is of average intelligence.

This is the possibly the worst movie ever made! I do not suggest that anyone see this movie as the plot of it turns into horribly violent and rape filled scened which were never advertised in the trailors. This movie is sick and disgusting, whoever made this had no conscious whatsoever and the cast should be totally ashamed of themselves for participating in it.

I hate this film!!! I did not think it was that bad at first, but once it got to the scene with the dogs tearing the man apart, I really felt like just walking out of the movie and was wondering what the director or screenwriter had going through their heads when they were making this godawful film!

This movie had alot going on it which made you think.... something some do not wish to do while in a movie.. Julianne Moore play a wonderful part and she should be awarded for her acting as did her co-star Mark Ruffalo.
