I think it's ridiculous not to be able to find any theater playing this movie. My wife and I actually saw this movie on Sunday in Woodbridge, Virginia.however it was not listed as playing in any theater in Northern Virginia theaters. Four people were watching the movie in the Potmac Mall theater. It appears that people were not even aware that the movie was playing

An excellent movie that tellls the truth with integrity. I saw the premeir and I've had the opportunity to ppersonally know two of the main character. This is not just Black history;this isUS histiory too. And, its a well done movie worthy of acclaim.

The Onion A.V. Club
Draws attention to a little-known chapter in the history of the civil-rights movement, but it doesn't do much to pull that moment into the present, or to pull the audience into the past. Full Review

A curious, somewhat ungainly movie. But it is also rich and fascinating. At times you think you are watching a clumsy stage pageant superimposed on a documentary; it's so stiff, and yet at the same time so real. Full Review

Though it can't quite transcend its filmmaker's earnest intentions, this solemn history lesson offers several powerful moments. Full Review

The Hollywood Reporter
Suffers from an awkward, plodding structure that robs it of much of its dramatic effect. Full Review

Village Voice
An earnest, if inert, civil rights docudrama clearly shot on the cheap (many of the wigs appear to have been borrowed from the Black Dynamite set). Full Review
