IT LOOKS REALLY REALLY CUTE
The average, unenlightened person settles in with soda and popcorn and sees only cute animals. If we find the animals endearing, makes the real point all the more disturbing: THESE ARE ENDANGERED ANIMALS. They are being orphaned, elephants poached only for the ivory while their family members cry out and mourn (yes elephants love and nurse their babies with breast milk, and mourn as deeply as
You settle in with your soda and popcorn. The cinematography is great, the 3D effects are right on, the apes and elephants are soooo cute. You're really comfortable and getting into the flick...and then it's over. Did I just pay $11 for this?
