Plot Summary
In 2000, George W. Bush's longtime campaign adviser Karl Rove became part of the new president's cabinet. This documentary argues that Rove has committed ethically questionable acts during the many election campaigns he has supervised, launching sneak attacks against opponents like John McCain in the 2000 presidential election. Journalists, politicians and associates describe Rove's rise to political power in interviews, while he responds to the allegations in a fax.

The movie feels like a rush job and at times its tactics are as suspect as those attributed to its subject. But when it comes to political strategy trumping policy in the Bush White House, it makes its case. show more
