Good movie. Liked the actors and the music, but the cars were sometimes in wrong years. The most obvious was a 1954 Buick in the 1940's. Anachronisms like this seperate the good from the great.

Great movie! Beyonce did a great job...would have liked to have seen more about the great Chuck Berry! Hope Beyonce gets an Oscar nod for her portrayal of Etta James....the movie was well cast. Really enjoyable.

Go have a great time! Cast was stellar and Darnell Martin got wonderful performances and picked all the right tracks. Lot of ground to cover and some glaring mistakes (Muddy's "Can't Be Satisfied" debuts as a 45 instead of a 78). Muddy, The Wolf and Little Walter steal the show. Give the film makers an A for effort and an A+ for entertainment. You don't have to be a blues fan to enjoy Cadillar Records, just have a heart and a little soul.

Great Movie!!! Best I have seen since Ray based on a true story. Having read the books on Muddy, Wolf, and seeing the Chess documentary this movie is right on. A MUST SEE!! for any blues fan.

Jeffrey Wright is always on point and this one is another gem. He must get an award for this. The whole cast did very well and I was left saying 'wow'! This was a great flick and an incredible point in music history, hell American History. So many talents flowed through that Chess Records, that's crazy. And the fact that a lot of people got rich off of black music, in very tough times, even 'swagger jacking' the great black artist illegally were all mentioned here. Gave a nice perspective about black music, in that era. Even today greedy execs try to buy new artists off with new cars, jewelry, etc instead of helping them get ahead financially and stay that way. I thought that was funny.

Great great movie and Kamika has it down - Beyonce is a contributing factor but not the star. Many others shine much brigher - and for those who love Vintage American Automobiles - go for the CARS !!! Made me very nostalgic !!!
