We all know the infamous Chuck Palahniuk, and still religiously quote Fight Club. Now we can enjoy yet another transgressional fiction tale of a sex-addicted man who seems to be way in over his head. With a talented cast and a good blend of drama and comedy, Choke is successfully an enjoyable movie you don't want to miss.

BEING ONE OF THE RARE PEOPLE WHO HAS SEEN THIS FLICK AND YET NOT READ THE BOOK, ALL I CAN SAY IS TOTALLY BIZARRE, GREAT ACTING, TOTALLY ENTERTAINING IN THAT OH SO WARPED SORT OF WAY.

INCREDIBLE! Loved it. They did change some things from the book but the movie was great!

As the story of a wallowing pig, Choke is often pretty entertaining, but when it comes to where-do-I-come-from poignancy, it can't always keep from gagging. Full Review

A singularly vulgar piece of work. Full Review

Yes, it's not for the squeamish or easily offended, but its sordidness is more superficially shocking than wickedly satirical. Full Review

I walked out of Choke feeling hustled, which is appropriate enough, I guess, for a movie that's a portrait of a compulsive hustler. Full Review

Palahniuk's antic absurdism is duly present, but the hurtling pace and barely-underlying nihilism that transferred to screen so vividly in "Fight Club" aren't much in evidence here. Full Review
