Plot Summary
This film documents the lives and hopes of a large group of Washington, D.C., teenagers laboring to produce a musical. The teens are enrolled in a charity program aimed at getting them off the streets by giving them artistic projects to work on. The progress of the production is tracked in the film, and the participants are interviewed about their lives and their future plans. The movie also re-visits the subjects several years after the production to follow up on the initial footage.
