I Actully READ the book this summer and although i havnt seen the movie, from the clips i have seen online i am truly dissapointed. None of the clips matched the book. The book was fun and exiciting. the movie... not at all. Another thing to add, Lina And Doon are both 12 in the book but doon looks 16 and lina 14-15. My friends and i wanted to go to the movie just so we can see how bad it truly bad it is so we can start a petition and send it to the producer and cast. They ALLL did a HORRIBLE JOB

I Love the book and I hope you guys are wrong that the movie doesn't suck. But iv'e seen the trailer and it destroyed what th book is about. Also, even thogh Doon looks 15, he's not. He's 24! OMG, hes too old to play 12. So you guys are right. Lets hope they dont butcher twilight, too.

Finally another movie the whole family can sit and watch and not flinch because of some foul language or actions. This was totally fun to watch and has intriguing scenery and story. This has excellent characters and Bill Murray was perfect for his role as usual. I wish there were more movies like this to choose from. I highly recommend this movie and hope everyone else feels the same way and rates it as high as I have.

BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THIS: it was the worst movie ive ever seen. it was soooo slow and led up to nothing. there were soooo many parts that were COMPLETELY pointless and that had no explanation what so ever. The end was the only 'happy' part, and it lasted like 3 minutes. SO RUSHED, STUPID, AGHH. please, please dont waste your money. 0_0

I thought the movie was great and the whole family enjoy it, the monster was a very large mole. For those of you that don't know mole's live underground.

One of the best family movies we have seen in a long time. There have only been about 3-4 great movies the past 3-4 years and this is one of them. We have not read the book yet, so maybe that is why we enjoyed it so much, but it had a great story line and was not boring for one minute. Suspencful, heart grabing, great family movie!
