I was very dissapointed with the 3-D. Does not compare to Avitar, AT ALL... It was ok. READ MORE REVIEWS FROM KIDS....www.kidsreviewit.com
I enjoyed the storyline with sam and liam but was very disapointed in the NO-D (3d) effects it was like the just added a shadow to give it a tiny... bit of depth I belive its the new trend to add a little double vision and call it 3D so they can charge an extra 3 bucks ...thats what they did with alice in wonderland so I saw that one in 2d and it really was a much better film Full Review
Anyone else out there see the problems with the 3-D? I kept seeing double images around actors and objects. It was really annoying and thought... t the 3-D cinematographer had his alignment of lenses off axis. 3-D is shot with two lenses side by side. Anyway, I complained about it and got 2 free admission movie tickets from the manager. I loved the gag where they leave the robo owl behind "We wont need that", at the base camp. In the original the gold owl saves the day and is awkward as a robot. That aside, the movie was entertaining and as a remake it was great compared to the old movie. Full Review
I thought that after Lord of the Rings, a movie like this would be made at least with half of the detail and professionalism-wrong. This movie was a... channel 9 on tv all the way. The best parts are show in the previews. Save your money and wait for it on you local channel. I am still waiting to see something that moved me in 3D-didn't happen. Could have easily watched the same movie without the glasses and it still would have sucked. Full Review
What a bunch of movie snobs! ... this was a good movie. Could have been better, but hey what movie couldn't. Go see it on the big screen. Keep... tasy films alive. Full Review
