I do not think Toho Studios have to worry about this monster picture replacing Godzilla, as it has none of the entertainment nor the imagination that a Godzilla movie has. You can watch a Godzilla movie and enjoy it, it had something to offer. This movie does not. It comes from the looser who gave as Atlas and Lost TV shows, they must have been lost in the clouds or on drugs when they wrote this screenplay. There is no acting in it either, Looks like they cast people who could not even make it in Daytime Television soaps. It only makes me see how good the 60's Godzilla movies really are.

Saw this movie recently and can just say "DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!" It was the most horrific mashup of popular monster movies I have ever seen. It should really be titled "Monster Movie" so people know it's a parody and a piece of crap. More or less "Godzilla but from the collateral damage's view of things and not the usual Hero/Heroine's perspective. If you wonder what it was like for the bystanders when "Monster Movie X" was produced here's your movie. This movie contains all the things one expects of a monster movie and borrows shamefully from so many other movies it is not even funny. The only thing that could be seen as "good" with it is the ending that is so perplexing that one does not really understand it is finally over until the credits start to roll. Also it leaves more questions than answers which might be good if you like that sort of thing. I personally hate it and that was one more thing that pulled down the review rating. Well done if one wants to milk out another movie and create a franchise. So this is exactly why I give it just ONE star.

I really thought it was good. Also like with the monsters in it. I wasn't scared of it at all. I didn't really get to finish it.

What a colossal waste of time. The home movie shaking was even worse than the plot. The only thing that was stylistic or clever was getting us to pay for it. Okay, one for the studio but now it's our turm.

I think Cloverfeild was a pretty good action/ horror/ sci-fi/ movie and will have you on the edge of your seat. It kinda has that Blair Witch Project feature to it and the special effects are great. The camrea might make you a little dizzy after a while, but it's a pretty good movie. It's kinda like War of the Worlds times a million.
