This movie is done with a unique vision in that it is told from the point of views of a few direcly involved people. Unlike most movies where the audience is looking at the action, this movie makes you are part of the action. I pushed myself back into my seat at least twice as I was rearing back from the closeness of the monster. If this were in 3-D it would be absolutely terrifying. If you've ever watched a home movie, then you will know what to expect. I give the director an A for originality and creativity. By the way, I got a headache and my stomache was upset from the craziness of the camera. Most reviewers said the same, and the theater had warnings posted. If you can't ride spinning rides, then you will get sick watching this.

I WATCHED THIS MOVIE. IT HAD NO PLOT THE MILITARY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING, THE MONSTER LOOKED LIKE A GIANT GRASSHOPPER BUG THING, AND FRANKLY IT LOOKED LIKE ONE OF MY CHEAP HOMEADE VIDEOS. AND I AM ONLY 13 WITH A CHEAP KINGSTON MINI CAMERA. IT GOT ME SICK AND I THREW UP. I ALSO THOUGHT THE CAMERAMAN HAD PAULSEY, OR WHATEVER IT IS CALLED WHEN YOU SHAKE YOUR HANDS ALOT. NOW HERE IS WHAT MY 19 YEAR OLD BROTHER SAID-This movie got me sick. It made me throw up, get motion sickness, and i stayed dizzy throughout the next day. I wasted in all $21.50 on this movie. If you don't believe me search up "Cloverfield Disease" on Google.

The whole movie was from a amateur video tape like the Blair Witch Project and pretty much started to nauseate me mid-way through the movie. The special effects with the monster were great but it had an abrupt ending that totally left the audience guessing what happened. I would definately not waste my money on seeing it had i known.

This movie was great! I actually makes you feel for the characters. I is almost like you are their (I actually covered my head a few times)I. People keep saying that you don't see the monster, but you see the monster up close and personal for a good minutes and honestly that is enough. The thing is actually standing over your head for a minute. If the movie was filmed any other way, it would just be another Godzilla like monster movie...This was totally AWESOME!!! It is like you are watching through the camera lense... like you are actually there! I don't care what anyone else says... IT IS A GOOD MOVIE... Definitely work $8.00! If you wait to see it at home it won't be the same... go see it in the theater!

I can't believe I wasted $6.50, and an hour and a half watching this movie. The story of this movie I admit is good but how the story was filmed from a camcorder got me into it but I hate how it's in first person instead of 3rd. If you are going to see CloverField I'd rather see Hannah Montana in 3-D.

Alright, I went and saw Cloverfield with my best friend and my friend John. As soon as the movie started, within the first 5 minutes, I was already dizzy and getting sick. This had to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. After the initial 5 minutes, i just closed my eyes and put my hood up, then, about 45 minutes later, still ill when opening my eyes, I decided, I had to leave. My best friend and I went to use the restroom, and right as I was about to leave, I vomitted.THANK YOU CLOVERFIELD.

When I went to see Cloverfield, I got sick. I convinced my dad to leave half way through the movie. The next day I saw 27 Dresses (Boring). And after that I saw the rest of Cloverfield. But What confused my dad and I was the name of the movie. CLOVERFIELD. What an odd name for the movie... We finally figured it out. So... What did the Creature look like? A giant grasshopper right? What was the creature doing to New York? Wiping it out right? What do grasshoppers (or locusts) do to fields of clover? They WIPE IT OUT.Get it. Got it. Good.Oh, and by the way, It overall was a good movie, even though I got sick. But I think it is one of the shortest movies of all time. 86 minutes I think. ~ By the conservative 13 year old.

Yeah, but it still sucked. The continual shaking of the camera didnt make me sick but the fact that I actually let myself sit there for the entire movie, sure did. I really didnt know what to expected I saw the preview, and it looked ok. So the movie ends and then what, this isnt regular TV where the second part of the sucky movie will be on next Wednesday and you can finally see what tha heck happens. What a waste of my precious time, I should have gone to go see The Eye with Jessica A.

This was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The movie is filmed by the unsteady hand of one of the guys in the movie. It is so shaky that many times I had to look away from the screen. The basic premise was interesting and had good potential but viewing the movie was soooooo bad.
