Your Reviews

I love Sissy Spacek; One movie I enjoy her in,is " 'night mother".In that film, she plays a distraught daughter who plans a suicide in front of her mother. In this particular film, she plays one of Grand... Old Opry's legendary talents,Loretta Lynn;Lynn is a sweet bumpkin who makes you cry with her sad love songs. I enjoy such tunes as "After The Fire Is Gone" with late partner Conway Twitty. She may be arrogant, with such tunes as "Fist City" or "You Ain't Woman Enough To take My Man". As Patsy Cline was a friend, she gave Lynn support as they went through rocky romances;I felt for Lynn, at the news of Cline's untimely death. As the lyrics go,in "You're Lookin' At Country", Lynn is "as old fashioned as she can be". Wonderful songs tell her life story. Full Review
