This movie definitely had a darker side to it that actually scared me for a ************* that dark side that actually made the movie interesting though. Overall, good movie but in lousy 3-D. Keep it original movie producers. I don't like wearing 3-D glasses when watching movies because I already wear glasses myself. Otherwise, good story. Little kids may get little scared from watching this though.

For all of you who want to give it bad reviews because it doesn't seem like a " children " movie. Give me a break... It says PG, and Does it really look like a walk on a sunny day in a park? Focus on how great the movie was, despite your expectations, and don't you think you should MAKE SURE a movie is " appropriate " for your children before you go and see it? Fail. :3 Awesome movie.

From the MPAA ratings system: "PG - Parental Guidance Suggested: Some material MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 10. May have MILD VIOLENCE and/or action, mild language and SEXUAL REFERENCES, brief NUDITY, INTENSE IMAGES, SEXUAL THEMES, crude humor or very mild drug references." I'm somewhat at a loss as to why people are so shocked that this movie was not one you might want small children to see. The rating system is pretty clear, and in this case, I thought the actual rating was very accurate. You may not have liked or appreciated the movie, but moaning about how scary/intense/disturbing/sexual it was vis-a-vis young kids is hard to take seriously. If a movie is rated PG and you don't preview it, or research it, before taking your preschoolers or kindergartners to see it, you have no one to blame but yourself. Both the writer and director are known for works that can be disturbing, visually and contextually. Seriously....
