Plot Summary
Seven years after his divorce, John (John C. Reilly) has given up hope that he will find love again. Then he meets Molly (Marisa Tomei), and romance quickly blossoms. But she is unusually hesitant to bring him to her house and, when he secretly follows her home, he learns why: Cyrus (Jonah Hill), Molly's grown son, refuses to share her with anyone. John soon finds himself locked in a battle of wills with a possessive man-child.

    I watched it twice and i think it\'s a well written and acted movie. Jonah Hill always surprises me, but we all know what Marisa Tomei and John C. Riley are capable of. I give it an 8.

    this movie let me down when it came to the comedy. I expected more laughs.the story was actually interesting. and you do want to watch it all the way through to figure out what the hell is happening.

    A creepily unsettling story about a troubled, mother-obsessed 21-year-old son who seems to be on the threshold of becoming a serial killer. Next stop, "Cyrus 2: A Son's Revenge" And oh, by the way, it's not funny...
