Happy Thanksgiving to all! As we all sit down to gorge ourselves on turkey and stuffing, I can't help but glance around the dinner table and think of spectacular death scenes from zombie cinema. What? No, I don't see a problem with the thought process....
Diary of the Dead, George A. Romero's first independent zombie film in over 20 years, follows a group of student filmmakers who, making a low-grade horror film in the woods, drive back to civilization ... only to find it isn't there anymore. We watch the...
I love George A. Romero for what my Cinematical colleague Ryan Stewart does not -- the 'symbolism bat,' which allows Romero the freedom to use zombies to comment on whatever he wants. To me, that's a strength, not a weakness. Plus, Dawn of the Dead made...

okay they screwed up at perfectly good horror film by remaking congradulations.
I've been a huge Romero fan so long, so i hope Gorge doesn't let me down. Land of the dead had me and my son, on the edge of a big let down, we like to be scared. The Dawn remake on the other hand sca... red the crap out of us. And we loved every minuit of it. So the Land remake was in affect very, very depressing in comparison. To me it lost it's last day's of man, theme that sucked me in, in the first place. Regardless, Gorge even if this next movie is a great let down, thank you for that moment that my boy grabs my arm and drops the popcorn. Thank you jason. Full Review
