This has to be one of the best vigilante movies I have seen in years. Kevin Bacon was as wonderful surprise. My family and I watched it 3 times in 2 days. I have a feeling it was overshadowed by Jodie Foster's The Brave One, which cannot hold a candle to Death Sentence.

kevin bacon playing mean is worthseeing but john goodmans bonz darling is even cooler . this movie is loud violent and foul mouthed everything a classic needs go see it

Not something I would have ever thought Kevin Bacon would accept....with his acting abilities. In my opinion terribly written and directed.

I love Kevin Bacon. That's why I rented the movie. But, come on, the plot holes were huge and many. I was very disappointed that I wasted my time.

p.s.\n\nat no point has anyone EVER at the fox said," there would be no problem had they been a straight couple." That?s just slanderous bull. People used to ask me all the time if it was a straight bar, or a gay bar. I've always said its an "everybody bar. As long as you don't act a fool, you are welcome."

This film was terrible. I can't believe Kevin Bacon or his agent read the script before accepting the role. Is he that hard up for an acting job. Very unrealistic. Average joe turns into a navy seal as far as fighting and handling firearms. Gets shot at with shotguns numerous times at close range but never ********. Almost walked out of this one. Police accuse him of starting a war and then just allow him to continue. His familly gets killed. The police can't find the culprits, but he can. Ridiculous,silly.
