This has to be one of the best vigilante movies I have seen in years. Kevin Bacon was as wonderful surprise. My family and I watched it 3 times in 2 days. I have a feeling it was overshadowed by Jodie Foster's The Brave One, which cannot hold a candle to Death Sentence.

Not something I would have ever thought Kevin Bacon would accept....with his acting abilities. In my opinion terribly written and directed.

I love Kevin Bacon. That's why I rented the movie. But, come on, the plot holes were huge and many. I was very disappointed that I wasted my time.

Don't waist your money. Go play Putt Putt or have your teeth cleaned. A waist of time. Some good shootem up sceenes, but over all, wait for the dollar movie. Maybe.

Death Sentence really surprised me, when i first saw the previews i thought it was going to be great because Kevin Bacon always does an amazing job in his films, but this movie blew me away, it was even better than what i thought .. this movie is NOT a waste of time, actually when me and my boyfriend went to see it last night we were talking about how we've been waiting so long to see a movie that actually wasn't a waste of time or money, and this was it. Bacons transformation was great and priceless. So to all the people that said it was a waste of time, i'm so glad i bought the tickets AND i'm buying the DVD, you can't go wrong. Anyway if anything Halloween was the dissapointing one, i wouldn't even buy that dvd, nor do i regret even buying the tickets. The director of Saw is amazing and sure does know what he's doing, because this is the only other movie besides the Saws he has made. Go see this movie!

"Kevin Bacon and Garrett Hedlund are both superb actors. The movie itself, well the title speaks for itself, so if you don't like death don't go, but if you like revenge it's awesome. A few scenes could have been cut short, but overall good.

The previews showed the best parts. This movie bordered upon ridiculous and silly. Several people in my audience even fell asleep! Bacon just couldn't pull his role off in any type of believeable or realistic manner. Save your money.
