i love patrick swayze and was upset to know he passed away. i wish that could have been me in that movie with him.(ha,ha) i would tell everyone to go and see this movie as he was a good actor.

this is one of my all time favorites. I was a teen myself when dirty dancing first came out. This was and still is a have to see movie

I love the movie and the music, it was a movie you could take your teenagers to. Wish more movie's were made in this style.

I enjoy this cute film and love the music.Swayze plays Johnny,a dance instructor at a club the Houseman's frequent.He meets up with Frances(Grey),a doctor's younger daughter when things get interesting; It appears that the manager doesn't like funny business.He fires Johnny when the couple appear too "close for comfort". As guests steal something,Johnny gets in trouble and Frances stands up for him.She comes through and proves her love, in front of daddy. Bravo to Grey,and Swayze for his song She's Like the Wind.That is an awesome tune!
