I can't believe people say this movie was bad!!!! This movie scared the s**t out of me! It was sooo good. Everything looked real and my GF even screamed out loud a few times. This is the best movie since The Ring, and trust me, I see every horror movie that comes out! Don't listen to these weiner heads, GO SEE THIS MOVIE.

By the way others are praising this movie I am wondering if we saw the sam thing. I thought this movie was horrible! The opening sequence got me fairly excited, the begining scenes and premise were great, the movie overall was CRAP, and the ending was a bit unexpected. So, if I thought the beginning, first half and end were good, why do I feel so ripped off by the move? Well, there was some questionable acting, cheesy unrealistic special effects, plot holes, predictable common sensical mistakes (how does one mistake a lightweight plastic button for a quarter?), unintelligent dialogue and a talking goat! Honestly, the goat is what broke the camel toe's back. Overall this movie was mildy funny and kinda gross (poorly done special effects made it less gross). I don't think I will watch it again.

dont even waste your money on seeing ******* a waste of time to! worst movie ever!!! and very disturbing! like wen the old lady gags on her wen she is dead....GROSSS!!!,,and its so fake looking.

It was ok for. If your that kind of person who gets scared easaly. The plot was ok not really a scary movie. It was pretty much pretictable, bad ending you know it was coming. It's like any other scarymovie that has come out this year. A bit of a yawn not much to it. The old lady and the mediuem were good at acting out their characters. The acting wasn't bad it was just the flow of the story.

I didn't know what to expect from this, a PG-13 horror movie. I must say I didn't have big expectations. But, after seeing the movie, I must say I was impressed, for the most part. Other than being predictable, the storyline was decent. There were a lot of jump scenes and some squirm-worthy ones as well. A good date movie if you want your girl to be hanging all over you at the end of the night! I recommend this movie, but I have seen better.

Pretty darn good horror film. The old lady was a good bad guy. Alison Lohman has the same facial features as Johnny Depp ?

Finally - a horror movie that isn't a tiresome bore and doesn't substitute cruelty for scares or flat, stupid "jokes" for real humor... It looks easy but obviously isn't since every other horror movie of late (with the exception of My Bloody Valentine 3D) has been a yawn-fest populated with offensively uninteresting idiots who can't act..
