As most horror films in this age have and still do, this one included...they all fail. I don't know what is going on with the horror film industry but i actually want to feel afraid when watching these films. In fact I want to feel involved with the story line, I don't care about random actress's screaming like pansy's, sacrificing there cat's, or being chased by demonic beings. It just doesn't scare me, sorry. So please if you are in love with those things watch this film. Other wise wait for some director to make something worth watching.

I watched this movie with my sister; I went only after she showed me the trailer. It was cool, left me hanging in my seat and with my heart racing slightly. It was pretty cool looking, I wanted to see it with her and find out more. This movie was a joke. Not in the good kind of way. I understand well that this wasn't supposed to be a mix of horror and comedy, but it failed at both of those objectives. Honestly, Spiderman was a scarier movie, and the Grudge was by far funnier! The graphics if anything were pretty forced, though pretty impressive in some aspects; the majority of the time they just came off as fake, unrealistic. The beginning was pretty cool, I'll admit in fact it actually hooked me; but after the prologue it took a turn for the worst. The only other good thing I can say about this movie is that the symbolism was decent in accordance to the storyline about Hell and in general the Devil, but the audience I suppose that this movie is targetting as well as those that actually watch the movie wouldn't probably understand that. Commedically speaking, there were no real jokes. All they really tried to do was make everything as gross as utterly possible, so gross it is obscene, and expect you to laugh. Maybe the younger audience would get a sick laugh out of all the blood and other.... Fluids unneccesarily used in this story, but it didn't go too well for us. And besides it being placed terribly, there was entirely too much of it. As a horror, they failed that by trying to introduce humor into it, it was so bad you couldn't tell the parts they intended to be humorous from the actual scary portions. And since I hate spoilers I won't add anything specific but since this is also seen in the trailers, isn't three days a pretty small time for a whole movie to take place? Maybe not in some movies, but I feel entirely too much went on in those three days of this movie. The last thing I'll say was the irony in this movie was terrible, it was a sort of irony that a sadist would have a good laugh over. It had a thin storyline that might be applicable to any sort of theme, but if there was you got it lost in all of the 'humor'. My own mottos to this movie are "Don't accept gifts from strangers" or "Don't Lie" but even those don't seem right to burn in Hell over. But maybe that's just me. All in all this movie is not only highly innacurate to most of its themes but just sick. I'm surprised the critics haven't chewed it out.

This movie was a HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT!!! The only scary thing about this movie is that people are paying to see it. The acting, cinematography, graphics, and script were so horribly done that you can't be scared once during this movie because you are too busy laughing or being annoyed at the various absolute absurdities which occur about every 10 seconds. This movie is placed in the genre of horror, yet the audience in the theatre was too busy laughing and cracking jokes at how horribly executed this film was.

Oh well I thought this movie was very good.I really don't think the character,Christine Brown ,deserved such horrible fate like that but I am not the director. After her character "sacrificed her kitten or cat " then honestly she deserved to be draged to hell. Also the character was a very self-centered individual like 95 % of society is. The whole movie had me in suspense. That's my opinion .

It started out well. It was witty and terrifying, until she killed the kitten. Then I wanted a special place in Hell for her. Her character did much more to deserve hell. The ending was unstatisfying and predictable. Worse it was a ripoff of Thinner and anyone who steals from that hack Steven King deserve to be dragged to hell.

Without a doubt, the worst horror film in the history of movies. Don't waste the hour and a half of your life on this film.
