Patrick Lussier is listed as The Director, though I saw no evidence of anyone in control. show more

Pure grindhouse, so committed to its own junkiness that it is, in its way, a pleasure to behold. show more

Director Patrick Lussier and his co-screenwriter Todd Farmer string together smash-up car chases, hyper-violent physical clashes, flying viscera and a dollop of sex and nudity with ludicrous dialogue and only a passing concern for logic in this high-octane trash. show more

There's even a shootout sequence that plays out, from start to finish, while our hero is in flagrante. That's something I don't believe I've ever seen in a movie. show more

The appeal of Drive Angry is much the same as that of "Piranha": a willingness to revel in absurdity to the degree where the exhilaration is infectious. show more

Heard sets herself up as a Megan Fox with talent. And Cage? He delivers. Mock him for his bad choices if you will, but consider this. Who else could have made this work, or would even want to? show more

Here is an exercise in deliberate vulgarity, gross excess, and the pornography of violence, not to forget garden variety pornography. You get your money's worth. show more

"Drive Trashy" would be a more accurate title for the first 45 minutes of this gore-spurting, sex-flaunting romp. And that's the good part. show more

Strictly for the midnight-movie crowd, Drive Angry serves up a non-stop stream of female nudity, flying body parts, gun battles and smart-alecky dialogue. show more

Drive Angry is something new for Cage - a movie that feels like it's straight FROM cable. show more

Hands down the number one action film of 2011. This was Cage's best performance since playing the role of Eddie in the hit film Deadfall back in 1993. I would recommend this to anyone who considers his or herself a human being. The only complaint I had was that Nick Cage wasn't in every single scene.

This movie has a blend of Quentin Tarantino\'s style laced with cocaine...lol... Imagine \"From Dusk Till Dawn\" crossed with \"Shoot Em\' Up\" and this film is that..I thought it was pretty darn good but they could\'ve left out all of the sex scenes because a movie like this would be even better without that. It is worth the watch if you like cynicism, comedy, and action/adventure!!!
