One of the world's wealthiest criminals to date gets the biopic treatment in Escobar, an Oliver Stone-produced dramatic retelling of how Pablo Escobar came to be the head of Columbia's drug cartel after growing up in poverty. Shooter's Antoine Fuqua directs from a script by David McKenna, adapted from the book Mi Hermano Pablo, which was written by the criminal's brother, Roberto Escobar Gaviria.
