Quite a stupid plot - build an ark for a local flood, and animals not even native to the continent and who don't need saving come along for the ride?A few laughs, but really a moronic movie not worth the ticket price.

I give Evan Almighty a 95 out of 100. If you know God then you will understand the grace that is depicted in this movie. God leads Evan on a refinement of his own character to be like the true nature of God Himself - who is humorous, patient, loving and kind but insistent on making Evan into who He created Evan to be through His love!..And to answer Evan's desire to change the world and believe he can do it! My only complaint is the hot dog joke. That could have been left out for sure!

The GE commercials with the brilliant use of digital imagery (e.g., dancing elephant) lulled me into thinking that the massive use of live animals for entertainment in film was a thing of the past. Unfortunately, "Evan Almighty" indicates otherwise, but viewers should know that the main supplier of animals for this movie, Birds

I thought it was funny as well as inspirational. I would recommend it to anyone and seriously think it's one of my favorite movies!

Of course we've all seen funnier, more entertaining movies. Take the kids (6 and up) to a matinee. You'll chuckle, and get out of the heat for a couple of hours.

I couldn't stop laughing! Even though the previews showed basically everything, it all came together well and didn't leave me in any disapointments. Much better than my girlfriends and I thought it would be!

I love it when god spoke to Evan's wife. It is so true. God does not help you to get love from others. God gives you an "opportunity". I am not religous but am touched by the words. God = hope or an opportunity. Then the rest is up to Evan's wife to work it out...

I have not seen Evan Almighty, nor do I plan to. Although I have been a fan of Steve Carell, I am also a fan of animals and their right to be free and not used for entertainment purposes. The company that supplied the animals for this movie has a long history of USDA citations for neglect and carelessness (visit http://www.nomoremo nkeybusiness). Does anyone REALLY think the animals in this movie enjoyed the comotion and noise that goes into putting together sets, redoing scenes dozens of times, and being stuck in cages when not on set? I will not patronize any movie using "animal actors" and encourage everyone else to do the same.
