Plot

A childless couple's attempts to have a baby lead to unexpected results in this made-for-TV science fiction drama. Brian and Elaine Cordell (Taylor Nichols and Heidi Swedberg), frustrated by their inability to conceive, visit a fertility clinic and are delighted when Elaine soon becomes pregnant and gives birth to young Adam (Jacob Smith). However, they sense something is unusual about their child, and they're right -- Elaine was actually fertilized with the sperm of a primitive man preserved from the Bronze Age. Evolution's Child also features Ken Olin and Susan Gibney.
