Wow! Finally, someone willing to stand up and call the Darwin-ites on the carpet and expose their blatant attempts to silence freedom of thought, ideas, and challenging the powers that (think they) be.Don't miss the broader point of this movie, folks...your freedom has been compromised. Stand up and be counted.Bravo Ben Stein!

To be a true liberal, which I am, I have to be open to alternative thought. This shakes me a bit, especially at the end with the intervier of Dr. Dawkins. However, I would recommend it to everyone, especially highschool students and college students. You cannot be afraid of this and consider yourself a true progressive. Liberal4Ever-J.D.

The film is a timely welcome for the hordes of bible-thumping, anti-science Americans who've been waiting to hear somebody expose the Big Science Conspiracy and affirm that Creationism is true. Their self-worth has suffered from evilushunist claims that they are descendants of apes; it's time Ben Stein came and blew the horn on an uncomfortable reality.

I just came home from watching the Expelled documentary. Expelled with Ben Stein was very enlightening. Stein left no stone unturned as he seeked out why there are scientists being denied tenure, and why there are some being "let go" from their jobs because they were Christians, OR had an alternate opinion about the origin of life, or merely didn't stand by Darwinism (theory of evolution), or just mentioned "intelligent design". Stein showed Darwinism's connection with Hitler's views on wiping out the Jews via his own personal "natural selection" process, while trying to buiild towards his perfect, master race. Stein's interview with Richard Dawkins near the end of the documentary was priceless as Dawkins stood firmly that there is no God that created life, but he would admit that life may have had an "intelligent designer"! He would accept that aliens created life, but not God. Dawkins showed his bigotry and bias in the documentary. Dawkins, a type of "high priest" for atheistic and evolutionary teaching, seemed only interested in protecting his own world-view, as did other atheists like Eugenie Scott and others who were interviewed.\n\nThe review by Josh Sim Josh seems to give the same tired rhetoric that's spewed out throughout the internet by atheists, who never even watched Expelled. A person may believe Expelled is boring if they expected to watch an action movie with Jackie Chan, but this is a documentary about getting to the truth. Ben Stein certainly got to the truth. Academic freedoms are being taken away in America, and when schools and colleges start telling you what to believe or think, without being able to question its faults, that is not an education... that is indoctrination. If you're interested in keeping your freedoms in America, this movie is a must see. Ben Stein is a new hero of mine.

I am A recently graduated Biology Major, and think this movie is awesome. Ben brings to light some of the horrific socital trends of restricing freedom of ideas being taught in our institutions of learning. His movie is eloquent, factual, and spot on (from a recent graduate point of view). To those who wish to bash before seeing the movie this is based on the desire to open up debate to a THEORY that is not even proven true, and the freedom of thoughts in the scientific community not any opinons. To the causual reviewers remember that all the leading scientists of the time told Christopher Columbus that the World was flat.

Absolutely brilliant expose of the power political correctness has to repress, ostracize, and marginalize anyone who dares to suggest that perhaps God and/or Intelligent Design had anything to do with the creation of the universe, mankind, or even the lowly (and complex beyond belief) cell. I am a PhD college professor who has seen with his own eyes and experienced with his own career the totalitarian ways of the Left in full and ugly operation on college campuses. Let one mention of God and/or ID pass through your lips and you will be banned from your colleagues' athesitic, humanistic, bombastic and boorish society--which is a good thing. The bad thing is that these fools "teach" our citizens. The fact is, whether you are a believer in God or not, Stein's brilliant documentary should send chills down your spine and through your heart over the terrifying implications of the education system being hijacked and perverted by purveyors of not only bad science but unrelentingly shoddy scholarship that automatically rejects out of hand any possibility of our lives having been intelligently designed, rather than emerging from a big bang, a lightning strike ("or whatever it may have been," as one "scientist" lamely posits), aliens having "seeded" life here on Earth, or the piggy-backing of something on "crystals." Truth be told, not one evolutionary "scientist" could say how life began, though they were all certain as to how it did not begin. Stein nails them in all their pathetically arrogant stupidity!

Expelled is an intelligent, informative and entertaining critic of the current war between so called science and the real facts.Expelled clearly articulates the loss of freedom of inquiry that is going on in the academy unless you are drinking the cool aid of full fledged neo-Darwinism. This film is a must see for anyone who seeks the truth. Ben Stein goes on a journey and is dismayed over what he discovers. Go BEN!

Even if you agree with the movie's premise (which is that a theory in biology caused the holocaust, therefore it's bad) the movie was filmed poorly. It is very boring, and quite lame. It is also full of outright lies, and misleading propaganda. The audience Stein talks to wasn't even real, it was full of extras paid to clap. Pretty sad. Also, they came to a conclusion before filming, despite what they claim in the film. As the movie was registered as a domain name well before they even interviewed the scientists (who they lied to, by the way).Watch it if you want a good laugh, or if you like being bored out of your mind. Take your girlfriend out to this if you want to break up with her, because she will no doubt think you're a daft individual (unless, of course, she is daft as well). Snoooooze
