There are a lot of schools like that. The school is based off a real school in Manhattan.

I am sooo excited that Fame is now being created into a PG movie I loved the show on broadway but there is no doubt that the movie is going to be soooo much better!!!! :) :) :) :)

If you go to the fame website (generationfame.com) then you see that it is rated PG. It's probably way better then the R rated one.

************ the original 1980 film for the first time since it came out 30 years ago and if they dealt with sex, drugs, alcohol, homosexuality, inter-racial relationships, homelessness, suicide, religion, abortion and (oh, yeah) high school; I can't imagine what the 2009 version will be like.
