Why name the movie "Rise of the Silver Surfer" and then barely show him? Seriously, what were the writers, directors, actors thinking? This movie SUCKED! It was boring and tedious. The ultimate dilemma was whether the wedding would happen. Who cares if the earth is falling apart? So much time was spent on the pending nuptials that the surfer story was shortchanged and felt rushed. After one encounter F4 with the help of Doom knew just where the power source was and how to catch the Surfer. Puleeze! Don't waste you time or money on this one!

This is a fantasitic movie. Whether you are into Marvel or not, this is a great ride. Go see this! Also, we saw a special showing of Ratatouille last night, HILARIOUS!. Go see F4, you'll love it!

I went with pretty low expecations after reading a lot of bad reviews. However, I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. MUCH MUCH better than the first one. More action and much more of a plot, and not nearly as silly and childish as the first movie. The Silver Surfer was pretty cool and deserves his own movie!! Definitely worth seeing!!

I thought this one was better than the first. Great CGI's and good story line. If you liked the first one then you'll love this one too.

Great movie. It's 90 minutes long but because it is so engaging, it seems shorter. Great story, lots of action, and an awesome end. I will see this again.

honestly i thought this would be awesome cus lets face it... it is the silver surfer. the only good parts of this movie were 1) whenever the silver surfer was on screen 2) whenever johnny made jokes and stuff and 3) whenever jessica alba was on screen b/c in some scenes she is just so hot, especially in that naughty looking teacher's outfit. Other than that.. the "humor" is dull, you can tell they toned this movie down for the kids. Overall it wasnt as good as I expected but still if you liked the first one you should see this. 3.5/5 stars
