Based on novelist Tim Sandlin's Sorrow Floats, this moving drama follows an alcoholic woman and two recovering drinkers as they travel across the nation in search of her son, who was taken away from her by her husband. Along the way, the journey cannot help to inspire the woman to embark upon a quest for her own salvation.
