I saw the film and boy was I shocked. Made me want to grow my own food, More importantly it makes me want to support the local farmer buy organics no matter what the cost. But more importantly I thought Monopoly's were illegal in this country. Why is our goverment allowing this.

An eye opening film that should be mandatory in all schools and news articles!

I can't believe the movie is only in a few theatres. I saw it in downtown Manhattan, but I feel sorry for everyone else especially in small town America. This movie should be seen by our entire nation. If you haven't seen it, make every effort to or buy The Omnivore's Dilemma or In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan. If you are considering becoming a vegetarian or vegan, which you very well may after seeing the disgusting meat and dairy industries, then you can visit peta.org or goveg.com. Skinny Bitch is also a great book about learning what your body really needs and also what could be potentially dangerous, even deadly for your body. As someone already mentioned, the movie shows a mom whose two year old died from eating a contaminated burger!!! Be careful what you eat. The industries and corporations that we are brainwashed to believe are protecting us are actually just concerned about getting RICHER! Don't forget that!

This film makes me happy I rejoined my CSA -- send a friend, contact your Congressmembers about food producing and labeling, read Marion Nestle, forgo Purdue.

Why isn't this showing in more theatres? I will have to drive 90 minutes each way to see it. Are there plans to release it more broadly?

My partner has been preaching to me for years about how our food is being manipulated and becoming less nutritious for our bodies while it is designed to addict us and expand our waistlines. After seeing this movie I am taking her seriously! Amazing that Monsanto could create such a stranglehold on our nation's farmers in little more than 10 years! Congratulations to our local theatre for showing this movie. It is a real eye opener. I hope our local media reviews it so more people will see it! Learn more and stay healthy.

I just saw it with a culinary student. WOW ! A must see. The Monsanto part is really scary as well as the law suits against consumers and farmers/growers. And Congratulations to the mom who is crusading for FDA changes after her young son died of e coli poisoning. You will think twice the next time you buy chicken, beef, pork, corn, and genetically altered food products. Yes it is time for change and ORGANIC seems the way to go. And honest and thorough food labeling is essential to educate all consumers.

This is a eye opening movie. We are born into a society where our basic needs such as "Food" has been manipulated to work against our bodies, and our society. We have to start questioning the system and create a new way
