Very, very funny and heartfelt. Written by ace TV writer Ann Marcus, For Heaven's Sake also touched my heart. Marcus is a talented writer who knows the mediums of both TV and film. In this movie she moves from a funny scene to a dramatic scene with great ease and skill. The director, Nat Christian, masterfully choreographs the story so that the viewer is always wanting a bit more. His actors are free, funny and very real. Florence Henderson is very effective as a grandmother who dies, goes to heaven, but manages to talk her way back to earth to see her granddaughter just one more time. Heaven is a mess of a place with bureaucrats running amok. It's very funny. Beautiful Allison Lange plays a younger Florence with a style and a charm that is delightful. David Paetkau is wonderful as her husband. Young Stephanie Patton is fantastic as the granddaughter. Talented Yaani King and Kathryn Gordon round out the cast.
