The gritty crime film For the Love of Money, begins in Tel Aviv where the young Izek (Jonathan Lipnicki) sees violence and crime threaten his family. Decades later Izek (now played by Yuda Levi) has immigrated to Los Angeles where he works to make his car repair business a thriving success. He also begins romancing a young woman. However, old patterns soon begin to repeat and he finds his livelihood threatened by a gangster (James Caan), a drug dealer (Steven Bauer), and his ethically dubious cousin (Oded Fehr). Director Ellie Kanner-Zuckerman rounds out the cast with Paul Sorvino and Edward Furlong.
