I was doubting this movie @ first... but I have to say that it was GREAT, if not the best movie I've seen in awhile. Highly recommended for all, very touching.

I saw this movie with four of my close friends. We are only thirteen and chose this movie over many others. The movie inspired my friends and I and I actually cried a number of times - some tears of joy, and some of sadness. It is my favorite movie of all and I probably will end up seeing it again if not buying the DVD. Once the movie was finished, my friends and I turned to each other and all said, "I definitely need to get that book!"

While the idea behind this movie is great, it just wasn't real. There is just no way a foxy miniskirted teacher is going to show up that way for class in that kind of classroom. Hilary was trying to play much too upper class. She needed to get more real. The students were what made it great. As to the other staff, there always has to be the trouble makers. Take out the Hollywood parts and this could/would have been great. Use a more down to earth 23 year old actress too. H S is a darn good actress, but this just wasn't for her if you ask me. Hmmmm Maybe I need to see it again in a few days???By the way, do by all means read the book "The Diary of Ann Frank" even if you don't see this movie.

THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE NOT ONLY IS IT INSPIRING BUT IT IS WONDERFUL AND THERE ARE SOME PARTS WHERE I JUMPED OUT OG MY SEAT CUSE OF A GUNSHOT BUT THIS MOVIE IS THE BEST MOVIE YOU WILL EVER GO SEE*** dONT bE THE ONLY ON NOT TO SEE IT****

A tragic film with an uplifting story that gets better and better as the film progresses. I was doubtful because usually MTV movies are extremely cheesy, but i was pleasantly suprised. Go see this movie.

It changes the view and stereotypes that too often apply to these young adults. Very moving, gets a good point across. Hilary Swank is astonishing.

This movie is a must see!! If you are a teacher or an inspiring one then you must go and see this movie!! the best movie in a long time!! I am a junior in High School and i am a inspiring teacher and i seen this movie and it made me want to be a teacher more than i already am!! AWESOME MOVIE!

Wow! i just saw this movie and it was so wonderful! dont be discourged by language nd violence in the beginning, it is truly touching.it isnt you aw little puppy heartwarming movie, is about how faith and love can change people.once you get to themiddle of the movie you hear their stories and you understand.i cried!
