Absolutely love this movie. Never get tired of watching it. One of my two favorites of all time.

One of the most heart-rending stories of friendship and undyng devotion in a small town in Georgia in the early 20th century. From a point of view of a Georgia native, this is a valid description of Southern values and love among people of all ages, sexes, races, and perhaps even sexual orientation though that is definitely not what is a dominant factor. The young tomboy\'s love for her older brother and following friendship with his girlfriend is so beautiful that Fanny Flagg should have won some special award for insight. Kudos for the book and the movie.
