  • Fruitvale Station is a gut punch of a movie. By standing in solidarity with Oscar, it becomes an unstoppable cinematic force. show more

  • At the age of 27 Mr. Coogler seems to have it all, and have it firmly in place a clearsighted take on his subject (no airbrushing of flaws or foibles here, just confident brush strokes by a mature artist); a spare, spontaneous style that can go beyond naturalism into a state of poetic grace, and a gift for getting, or allowing, superb actors to give flawless performances. show more

After watching this i'm left in shock. I did tear up at the end, but i was having trouble hearing anybody in the movie so it defeated half the purpose :( although this was a good reminder of how ****** up situations can get. its just the ending made me ball out with tears. must see 100%% recommendation to anyone.

Awesome movie!!! Michael B. Jordan played his part superbly. When movie was over, I sat right there and cried. I was that moved. Best movie I have seen in a long time. I want to see it again, but I can\'t because it is too sad.
