this is a disturbing movie!!!

This was by far the worst movie I have ever seen. It was nothing but a waste of time and money. We ended up leaving about 30 min before it ended. Horrible, pointless, pathetic. Nothing worse than killing a dog and kid in movie. There I told you, so now you don't have to waste your hard earned bucks on this nonsense movie.

This is now in my "THE WORST movies I have ever seen" list. It was pathetic and uninteresting. It was annoying and long.People were walking out of the theatre. I wish I did the same.I cant believe money was spent to make this crap.

I love this movie!! Endless negative reviews of this movie made me rush to the theater to see what all the fuss was about. I laughed so hard I almost urinated. This movie rules.It's a dark comedy people!! Everyone is getting way too worked up over this movie. I read one review saying it made them vomit... other's leaving the theater ashamed... some wanting to torture the makers of the film.. I just don't get it. The movie is quite funny if anything.On the way out of the theater, a soccer mom screamed "I wish I would have went to see Horton Hears a Who!!" Well duh! If your idea of a good movie is a child's cartoon with a happy ending... I advise you to not see Funny Games. If you like dark demented movies, you'll LOVE it!

Do not see this film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It is by far the worst thing I've ever seen in my entire life and I wish I could take back those two hours of my life. The people who made this movie should be tortured the way the characters were! If you are a sick and twisted psychopath, you might enjoy this movie...but probably not.

Appalling! Shocking! Riveting! Unwatchable! Movie reviews are always better once you've seen the film. I had no idea what this movie was about having never heard of it. I just went 'cuz a buddy of mine likes Michael Haneke films. This movie does to you what is being done to the people onscreen. I wanted to walk out of it about 3 or 4 times but it was so unlike anything I'd ever seen (save 'A Clockwork Orange') and the performances were so powerful that I had to see where it was going to end up. What was I thinking? Happy ending? (That knife is still on the sailboat!) Silly me. What "Top Gun" did for all the Air Force pilots out there, "Funny Games" will do for all the sadistic killers.

Horrible Movie.. The concept sounded so good that I ran to watch it, I love those kinds of films.. it was starting ok but went down hill from there.. it truly sucked! I wanted to walk out so many times but kept hoping it would get better, never did! Ran too slow, showed 10 min of Naomi attempting to stand up when tied up, 10 min of watching her on screen husband blow dry the wet cell phone in hopes of making it work... i lost interest so many times.. plainly it was not a good film

The trailer for "Funny Games" was shown recently in our local theatre. The reaction: people yelling at the screen: "Screw YOU! I'll never give you a cent of my money to see that!" And, "No one should see that movie!" Followed by another audience member, "EVER!!" It is pure, unadulterated sadism. Why? Does anyone know what would drive a filmmaker to spend his time and other people's fortunes on this crap? VOTE WITH YOUR FEET, PEOPLE!! Don't go see this. Unless of course you like being abused. Personally, I refuse to play the masochist to Haneke's sadist. The only way to send a message is to participate in helping the movie tank, big time!
