This movie is TERRIBLE!!!!! Waaaaaaay too long & had no point to it at all. There were a few funny parts but overall it was just depressing. I couldn't wait for the torture to finally end. Please save yourself the money & DO NOT waste your time going to see this. Sadly disppaointed in all actors associated with this disgrace of a movie.

I have to say that I was very disappointed in this movie. I have to think that Adam Sandler was depressed through most of the movie because he knew how bad it was going to be. The story line seemed like it was going to be a great concept but it really never materialized. The casting was great and there were a few laughs but it was not half of the movie ************** have been. I am really surprised that Adam Sandler allowed this movie be released in its' current state. It was too long and really left me feeling like I wasted my time. I think the message was lost and the movie never decided if it wanted to be a comedy or a drama. I was expecting a funny and enjoyable Adam Sandler movie and was greatly disappointed. I know that this cast can be much funner than they were in this movie.

My husband and I just saw the movie Funny People.Trust me we are not prudes. But I still don't know exactly how I feel about it because I haven't heard the use of the word "F..." so much since the cop movie Serpico years and years ago. At least police are in dangerous and stressful situations where I can understand their use of the word. The word was used so gratuitously that it is probably said every other word. All the jokes seemed to revolve around genitalia and certain and various sex acts. Over 2 hours of this was just way way too much!! Isn't there anything else that people think is funny? ( Glad we didn't bring my mother to it.) I think the same movie could have been made with less "dirty jokes" in it. On the other hand we saw with mom Julie and Julia yesterday and it was great!! We loved it and would recommend it to everyone! Kudos to Meryl Streep and Amy Adams.

It's obvious that the critics don't no their "A' from a hole in the ground.We read their review last week and based on their high rating , we went to it last Sat...It was worse than horrible.....If there was a real story line to focus on it was well camouflaged by the filthy language....We sthould have left but kept hoping it had to get better..It did not

This movie sucked. i almost fell asleep. Its like they didnt know how to end the movie. so they just dragged it out. I was disappointed thoroughly that i spent the money to see this. Just not worth it

I was highly disappointed in this Adam Sandler movie. The foul language was unnecessary - it was way too long with such fiflthy language that I almost walked out, but kept thinking it would get better. Have always liked Adam Sandler, but will not go to see anymore of his movies after "Funny People", which was not funny.

Obscene, foul language all throughout, nasty, boring, long, not funny. Disappointed in Adam Sandler, I felt like I was watching a porn movie. I should have walked out. Plot got lost in all the nastiness & filth. Don't go see this movie. I give it 0 stars.

This has to be absolutely the worst movie I have ever seen in quite a long time. The language is not just bad, it is foul and obnoxious there is no real plot to the movie, it is long, disgusting and I want my money back. I would not recommend this movie to anyone. It is Adam Sandler and the rest of the cast at their very worst.
