The film Georgia O'Keeffe, is a portrait of one of America's best-known women artists. The painter herself provides commentary to offer a personal portrayal of her life and work. It is both a showcase for the works produced throughout her 99 years and an intimate reflection of her artistic vision and character. The Wisconsin-born painter was trained in New York and later moved West where her work took on a Southwestern flair. O'Keeffe's relationship with photographer Alfred Stieglitz remains one of the most legendary romances in the art world.
