A very good movie! Robert Duval seems to find the best parts to showcase his acting style; or they find him. This is one of his best... ince Lonesome Dove. There are several other notable artists in the film, and all do an amazing job. I changed my ming; this is a GREAT movie! Full Review

Robert Duvall gives a 5-star performance, with a very strong supporting ********************* an unusual, sensitive,... 5;provoking story about "funeral plans," without being either morbid or mushy. This is film-making ****** best. Full Review

Robert Duvall should be considered for a "Best Actor" award! He is Felix Bush and embodies the role with every word and silence.... Went to see it because I see almost anything with Bill Murray in it...left totally impressed with Duvall and Sissy Spacek. Great details paid to costume, atmosphere, sets......cars, funiture..etc. See it if you can find it! Full Review

Felix (Duvall) simply wants to host his own goodbye, maybe have a band, and the reasons why are the reasons Get Low is essential viewing. That, and the acting.Full Review

In lesser hands this Southern saga might have collapsed into whimsical corn, but cinematographer-turned-director Aaron Schneider has fashioned a measured fable, witty and deeply felt, if at times tipping into melodrama.Full Review

Though the story sometimes wanders into hazy, corny sentiment, its protagonist (called Felix Bush, which was apparently a nickname or alias of Breazeale's) is vivid, enigmatic and unpredictable.Full Review
