Ghost Town (2008) User Reviews

Dentist dies momentarily while having a routine dental procedure. Upon being revived he gains the ability to see dead people, and them to see him. Needless to say he is overwhelmed by requests of the dead ones to contact their former family members and give them messages(aka things they wish they'd said and done, regrets, lost things and where they can be found etc). Fortunately for the film, thee dentist is an unwilling participant. He does have a small soft spot for Greg Kinnear(maybe a big one as he's falling for kinnears wife) this depite Kinnerar cheating on his wife and his wife knowing about it. Kinnear is relentless with the dentist because of how bad he feels on how he never got the chance to right things with his wife. i liked the idea of the film, I think it could've been done alot better as I didn't really feel too bad for Kinnear since he was a cheater and remorseful only because his wife found out. Based on the reviews my expectations of the film where higher than the film achieved, so a little disappointment, but it's a decent film. 3 outta 5.

It was a very nice feel good movie, I liked the Indian Docotr in the movie, Indians, specially hindus are so nice people. Anywayz, it is for adults not for children, veyr nice movie, I would say a must see for atleast all self-centered people and learn what life is all about.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was funny, thought-provoking and very entertaining! I laughed and cried and left the movied feeling really upbead--which doesn't happen too often any more. I too, am recommending it to everyone I know who needs a break from reality and all the negativity that bombards us in the media today. This was a mini-vacation--a feel-good movie that kept me entertained all the way through. In fact, I enjoyed it so much (and know that I missed some really witting writing and excellent comic-timing) that I'll be seeing it again! See it! It's worth your time and $$$..

Don't usually post comments, but I really didn't intend on seeing this one. Got times mixed up and ended up with this one. The sarcasm was hilarious. I laughed more in this movie then I have in a long time. Been recommending this to everyone.

Different is the word that comes to mind. This is not for children so take them to another movie. This is for thinking adults that are tired of the same old stuff over and over. The acting was very good and with enough twists and turns kept us interested. I think I may see this again sometime and will add more comments then.

I laughed until I cried. Best, most fun movie I've seen in forever. Going back for sure!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was such a nice change from the shoot-em blow-em-up moviies that seem to be in the theater every week. The acting was excellent, story was creative, could have done without the cursing though.
