AS A PATIENT IN MANY HOSPITALS,THE MOVIE MADE ME FEEL AS I WAS AT HOME. SUFFERING FROM THE SAME ILLINESS, AN ANOTHER ONE CALLED MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDED,I KNOW WHAT SHE WAS GOING THROUGHT,BEING A PATIENT ON THE INSIDE ,MEETING THE DOCTORS AN STAFF ,YOU GET TO UNDERSTAND HOW IT ALL WORKS.IN ALL THAT TIME NOT MUCH HELP EVER CAME OUT OF ALL THOSE HOSPITAL STAYS.THE DOCTORS AT TIMES DON'T CARE

I just watched this film for the first time [2008] and found it to be fantastically interesting offering, as it does, an insiders view of mental disorders and their "treatment" in the 1960s.
