  • A coming-of-age story without any clear epiphany, Goats meanders rather aimlessly through 92 minutes of running time. show more

  • First-time director Christopher Neil (a Coppola cousin) scores points for scenery: The treks in the Arizona desert are shot beautifully - as is Duchovny's chiseled, oft-naked bod. show more

  • Christopher Neil's film is more location-scouted and photographed than directed and acted. show more

Interesting and honest coming of age story with an awesome cast. Nice if you\'re looking for an alternative to the mainstream action or super hero flick. Nothing wrong with those types of films, just neede a break.

I love coming of age films, so I knew I had to check out this film. It\'s pretty charming. Duchovny is the standout, but I enjoyed the entire cast. I\'ve known kids like Ellis-- great kids trying to find their way with parents who have their own, rather significant, issues. I really enjoyed this journey.
